Recipe Handling

The recipe editor allows you to create, store and maintain recipes. A recipe contains the bill of materials and the necessary production parameters to produce a material.

Production planning

The production planning module allows you to create a production schedule in which you define how much material you want to produce. The planning module helps you to guide your production and is able to dispatch batches to the production execution system of the supervisory control module. 

Tracking & Tracing

- CFS Automation provides the basic control functions needed to create, store and restore files, containing the necessary set of information about:

• composition of the finished product
• origin of added material
• what happened during production

- CFS Automation provides the basic control functions needed to trace contaminated material usage in other products.

- Basic control functions needed to scan barcodes. At every position where material is added manually to the production line, a barcode scanner shall be placed to feed the database with information on what materials are put into the line.

- Basic control function to print barcodes
At every position where product is leaving the production line in storage bins, a barcode printer shall be placed to generate a barcode label with relevant barcode information of produced materials. The barcode labels are setup to the GS-1 standard.

- Basic control functions needed to trace contaminated material usage in other products.

- Basic control functions needed to create, store and restore files, containing the necessary set of information about:

• Composition of finished product
• Origin of added material
• What happened during production
